Job description

• Ensuring that all deliveries (either produced through Purchase or Service Orders) are delivered in a timely manner.
• Identifying any areas of slippage.
• Escalating said slippages to Buyer if unable to achieve the required delivery.
• Reporting on a regular basis on the status of all Orders to internal stakeholders both on and offshore.
• Producing system reports, or excel spread sheets as required.
• Expediting repair Orders through the complete cycle of repair.
• Assisting Buyer as and when required.
• Assisting Material Controller as and when required.
• Liaise with key client group stakeholders to ensure suitable Supply Management involvement in the expediting of specific requirements.
• Meet regularly with key contractors to ensure the Company's needs are being met and that strategic value relating to deliveries is being realised.
• Ensuring that the Company is meeting its obligations to the contractor to help position the deliverables for success.
• Developing relationships with Suppliers
• Although predominantly desk expediting Vendor and site visits will be required from time to time and will be carried out as required.
