Job description
Electrical Design Engineer:¿ Maintaining a Document register and control of
document flow.
¿ Issuing management report on document release and
approval status.
¿ Review of vendor design calculation and drawing.
¿ Co-ordinating with the vendor regarding the design
related issues.
¿ Preparation & Review of Material Requisition with
necessary Technical requirements.
¿ Coordinating with Consultant / Client for Technical
clarifications.
¿ Review of Equipment sizing calculation, Cable sizing
calculation, Earthing & Lightning calculation, Lighting
calculation, Load list.
¿ Review of SLD, Protection & metering SLDs, Lightning
& Earthing layouts, Lighting layouts.
¿ Review of switch gear, MCC and JB layouts.
¿ Review of Substation equipment layout, Cable cellar
tray/ trench layouts, etc.
¿ Review of cable schedules for power, lighting & control
cables, panel schedules.
¿ Material Specification preparation and review.
¿ Electrical Items requisitions, Vender documents review
and Technical Evaluation of Vender items.
¿ Review of Cable Tray support layout, Selection of
standard supports & Bill of materials for the supports.
¿ Material Estimation for Electrical system
¿ Site Co-ordination
¿ Monitoring & controlling engineering activities to keep
it in the track of overall project schedule & reporting
the engineering status to the management.
