Our client, a leading oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Marine Projects Specialist

Job Purpose
¿ Provides support to Logistics in marine related matters with the prime function in dealing with marine related project activities, offshore particularly offshore constructions activities related to SARB Field.
¿ Participates with project team leaders and designates. Evaluates technically the vessel offers, technical acceptance and inspection to work within a specified project.
¿ Responsible for frequent risk assessments and providing technical solutions to marine problems that projects encounter.
¿ Ensures that all project activities are conducted in line with company and agreed project procedures

Experience
¿ Master Mariner Certificate of competency STCW 95 11/2 (Academic Standard of B.Sc in Marine Service) or equivalent logistics qualifications
¿ 7-8 years of experience in Marine Offshore Operations including Rig mover, offshore towage & Anchor Handling, Construction & Derrick Pipe Lay Barge, Dynamic positioning systems (preferable) and familiarity with vessel auditing using the common marine inspection document and knowledge of operational areas considered an advantage.
¿ 4 years as specialist in rig towing or jack-up barge movements
