Job description

To perform internal audit functions, investigations, review of procedures/policies and consultancy assignments, and produce audit reports.
To ensure the effectiveness and the efficiency of risk management, internal control and corporate governance processes and management
To review and finalize Audit reports prepared by Senior auditors and Internal Auditors
Provides technical expertise in complex or sensitive audit engagements, including investigations of irregularities
To identify and advise the Management on potential improvements i.e. risk management, internal control.
University Graduate in commerce or finance
Internationally recognized accounting/auditing qualification: ACA, CPA, CISA, etc).
7+ years practical experience in Internal/External auditing, within Financial Services industry
4 years experience in banking Internal Audit.
Member of Institute of Internal Auditors or similar International Standards association
Post-Graduate Accounting or Finance qualification from a recognized international institution
Knowledge of Islamic banking and general business operations
