Our client, a steel manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit QA/TQM Specialist

Quality Assurance / Total Quality Management Specialist is responsible for continuously improving processes, products and services of the Projects Department in the Strategy Development Division.

Experience:
7 plus years of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing quality management advisory services and/or managing staff and operational systems

TQ Planning and Specialization:
¿ Ensure ISO- compliance. Ensure safety compliances where applicable for each division in addition to ISO
¿ Use of Quality Tools such as Cause-and-Effect Diagrams, Flowcharts, Checklists, Control Charts, Scatter Diagrams and Histograms
¿ Review project deliverables Conformance to specifications, value for price paid, performance, reliability and quality concerns if any
¿ Preparing for Prevention costs incurred in the process of preventing poor quality from occurring. Appraisal costs incurred in the process of uncovering defects.
¿ Internal failure costs associated with discovering poor product quality before the product reaches the customer. External failure costs. Costs of failure at customer site, including returns, repairs, and recalls

Safety, Quality & Environment:
¿ Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls within the shared services division to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality services and a responsible environmental attitude.

Policies & Procedures:
¿ Direct the development and oversee the implementation of policies covering all functional, technical and operational finance areas shared services so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to internal & external clients.

Education:
¿ Masters Degree or Professional Qualification or in Quality Management from a reputable university
¿ Specialization in Quality and Management, Accounting or related disciplines. Professionals with engineering background

Skills Requirement
¿ Ability to formulate and manage budgets, manage contributions and investments, manage transactions, conduct financial analysis, reporting and cost-recovery
¿ Ability to implement new systems and affect staff behavioral/attitudinal change
¿ Ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management and reporting
¿ Ability to successfully lead the Finance Team
¿ Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development in one or more Practice Areas, acts on learning plan and applies newly acquired skills
¿ Demonstrates integrity by modeling the values and ethical standards
¿ Excellent IT skills, knowledge of a web-based management system
¿ Good knowledge of accounting
¿ Knowledge Management and Learning through leadership and personal example
¿ Knowledge of quality circles, six sigma, TQM, Deming and Kaizen tools and techniques
¿ Promotes the vision, mission, and strategic goals
