Job description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT.1.B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent.
2.5 years experience in a petroleum Refinery Laboratory with wide knowledge in research, quality control testing, standard test procedures and instrumental analysis
3.Fluent in English.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
*Supervises and controls various activities of Gas, Water, Analytical, Sulphur Terminal and GUP Laboratories. *Direct special analyses and studies required for effective operational control, evaluation of suitability of chemicals used in the plant, products quality control, equipment performance and corrosion control.
*Coordinate with Senior Operations and Production Planning staff, Process and Inspection Engineers for analysis schedules, quality control, test runs, shutdown, startup, corrosion control and technical surveys.
*Ensures testing for preparation of quality certificates for LPG & granulated Sulphur product.
*Reviews daily lab. test results of the concerned labs for any abnormalities.
