Our client, a leading oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Well Integrity Engineer ¿ Integrity & Flow Assurance

Job Purpose & Scope
To coordinate and perform Well activities related to well integrity envelope including surface and sub-surface and related to `Scale Asphaltene & Corrosion Management / Engineering¿ in order to maintain well assets integrity and sustain well availability. To gather and property handle the technical data inputs related to well integrity of all the wells (oil producers, water/gas injectors, observers, analyze well problems, recommend investigative and /or corrective measures and witness the implementation of critical activities in the field. To coordinate with site, technical departments and other concerned personnel on day to day basis with respect to well integrity & flow assurance related activities & assignments

Principal Accountabilities
¿ Develop well integrity program for wellhead and subsurface completion equipment and remedial / repair program
¿ Evaluate the well completion integrity assurance process output, identify sub-standard practices & performances, advise appropriate action plans to mitigate the integrity risk and ensure their implementation
¿ Ensure proper monitoring of the wells annul pressure behavior and manage SAP planning including program preparation for conduction annulus pressure bleed off surveys, evaluation of survey results, surface/sub-surface communication investigations in close coordination with site operational team and defining way forward
¿ Design process for data investigation, analysis of the well integrity problems and recommending further investigative and / or corrective measures which could be Rig-less or Rig-Intervention (workover)
¿ Ensure onsite technical assistance to Field Surface Operation & Wireline Operation Supervisors during critical rig-less well operations and advise appropriate troubleshooting for the operational and technical integrity problems
¿ Establish and update periodical reports on integrity status of wells completed in the field
¿ Conduct the compliance audit of the field operational activities like Wireline Intervention, Wellhead Testing, Logging, Communication Investigations, Bleed-off Surveys etc
¿ Identify and Plan preventive maintenance in coordination with site according to WIMS frequencies
¿ Carry out studies addressing specific operational integrity problems as assigned from time to time and prepare appropriate recommendations/action plan for immediate solution of such integrity problems
¿ Coordinate /lead HAZOP & Risk Assessment (RA) associated with well changes/problems that may have potential impact on well integrity
¿ Report progress against change implementation process
¿ Carry out, system change communication activities within assigned asset area and ensure that all stakeholders are involved in/informed of changes
¿ Work according to HSE rules, policies and participate in incident/accident investigations relevant to his assignments and responsibilities
¿ Provide onsite technical assistance to field production team during the scale & corrosion monitoring and treatment operations
¿ Prepare yearly plan for scale/asphaltene & corrosion monitoring, investigation, treatment & prevention and ensure the appropriate implementation of the plans to mitigate the scale & corrosion risks
¿ Prepare programs, plan and conduct well monitoring surveys such as logging, callper surveys, DH coupon/tests to establish the well integrity status with respect to scale, asphaltene & corrosion
¿ Write necessary programs for Scale/Asphaltene Dissolver & Corrosion Inhibitor Squeeze Treatments, Mechanical Scale Removal jobs and accordingly prepare evaluation report for each type of jobs
¿ Write technical reports related to scale/asphaltene & corrosion status in SU Fields and make the necessary presentations for the stakeholders and management
¿ Carry out studies (as assigned from time to time) addressing specific operational problems related to scale/asphaltene & corrosion and prepare appropriate recommendations/action plan for immediate solution of down hole integrity problems
¿ Prepare Scope of Work for chemical selection testing criteria, i.e., efficiency testing, compatibility testing and core flood experiments to identify best chemicals for down hole applications. Assess test results and report to management with recommended way forward
¿ Prepare programs, plan and coordinate field trials for selected chemicals, apply strict evaluation criteria, evaluate and recommend best chemicals for long term down hole applications
¿ Prepare and update well history database related to Scale/Asphaltene & Corrosion Management
¿ Collect and validate wells scale/asphaltene & corrosion data in database system and properly maintain data management system
¿ Review the daily production/work over activities and identify any well integrity related concerns
¿ Follow up with laboratory regarding produced fluid and water chemistry analysis reports
¿ Maintain close liaison with chemical suppliers and services companies engineers and keeps abreast of recent developments in the area of scale monitoring, treatment and prevention

Organizational Relationships
Regular interaction with the other team members in the Business Units and Support Units and Site for smooth coordination of work. Bring about integration and synergy in addressing common requirements of reservoir team, suppliers and contractors for technical briefing and negotiation

Minimum Requirements
¿ Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline
¿ Minimum 10 years experience of petroleum engineering activities related to well construction/completions design and operational aspects, work over, slick wireline operations, logging, CTU operation fishing, annulus management, corrosion & scale management and control, cement/casing integrity assessment, leak detection surveys & evaluation, artificial lift system etc., preferably in offshore location
¿ Highly skilled (Technically & Professionally) with thorough understanding of well construction & completion design and demonstrable experience in maintenance/integrity philosophies & practices
