Our client, a leading oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Well Integrity Engineer ¿ Flow Assurance

Job Purpose & Scope:
To coordinate and perform ¿Scale & Corrosion Management / Engineering¿ activities related to Scale & Corrosion monitoring & treatment business. To gather and properly handle the technical data inputs of all the wells (oil producers, water/gas injectors, observers), analyze well problems, recommend investigative and/or corrective measures and witness the implementation activities in the field. To coordinate with technical departments and other concerned personnel on day to day basis with respect to well flow assurance related activities & assignments

Principal Accountabilities
¿ Prepare yearly plan for scale & corrosion monitoring, treatment & prevention and ensure the appropriate implementation of the plans to mitigate the scale & corrosion risks
¿ Provide onsite technical assistance to field production team during the scale & corrosion monitoring and treatment operations
¿ Coordinate and plan surface/sub-surface scale & corrosion investigations
¿ Prepare programs, plan and conduct well monitoring surveys such as logging, call per surveys, DH coupon/tests to establish the well integrity status with respect to scale & corrosion
¿ Write necessary programs for Scale & Corrosion Inhibitor Squeeze Treatments, Scale Dissolver Treatments and Mechanical Scale Removal Jobs and accordingly prepare evaluation report for each type of jobs
¿ Ensure that all operations are being carried out in accordance with standards and practices as laid out in Scale & Corrosion Management System and by carrying our necessary auditing compliance campaigns
¿ Write technical reports related to scale & corrosion status in fields and make the necessary presentations for the stakeholders and management
¿ Carry out studies (as assigned from time to time) addressing specific operational problems related to scale & corrosion and prepare appropriate recommendations / action plan for immediate solution of down hole integrity problems
¿ Prepare Scope of Work for Chemical selection testing criteria, i.e., efficiency testing, compatibility testing and core flood experiments to identify best chemicals for down hole applications. Assess test results and report to management with recommended way forward.
¿ Prepare programs, plan and coordinate field trials for selected chemicals, apply strict evaluation criteria, evaluate and recommend best chemicals for long term down hole applications
¿ Evaluate Scale & corrosion Management System process output, identify sub-standard practices and performances and recommend corrective measures
¿ Carry out, system change communication activities within assigned asset area and ensure that all stakeholders are involved in / informed of changes
¿ Prepare and update well history database related to Scale and Corrosion Management
¿ Collect and validate wells scale & corrosion data in database system and properly maintain data management system
¿ Participate in well review meetings
¿ Review the daily production / work over activities and identify any well integrity related concerns
¿ Follow up with laboratory regarding scale inhibitor residual and water chemistry analysis reports
¿ Follow up with the contractors and suppliers and issue the necessary purchase requisitions, service orders and call off orders related to scale & corrosion management operations
¿ Maintain close liaison with chemical suppliers and services companies engineers, and keeps abreast of recent developments in the area of scale monitoring, treatment and prevention
¿ Conducts studies on adaptability of such technology to operations and makes appropriate recommendations
¿ Work according to HSE rules, policies and participate in incident/accident investigations relevant to his assignments and responsibilities

Organizational Relationships
Regular interaction with the other team members in the Business Units and Support Units and Site for smooth coordination of work. Bring about integration and synergy in addressing common requirements of reservoir team, Suppliers and contractors for technical briefing and negotiation

Minimum Requirements
¿ Bsc Degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum 10 years experience of petroleum engineering activities related to well Scale, flow assurance, well services and intervention. Monitoring Scale Management and control
¿ Highly skilled (Technically & Professionally) with thorough understanding of well construction & completion design and demonstrable experience in maintenance / integrity philosophies & practices. Extensive knowledge of well intervention operations (W/L, Logging, bullheading and Coiled tubing)
¿ Good knowledge in production operations, well testing and reservoir engineering
¿ Understand and analyze the water chemistry analysis, solubility and scale deposit analysis reports
¿ Knowledge in commercial related issues and tendering process
¿ Good in technical writing
