This vacancy is with our client dealing with Engineering, Plant Operations & Project Management of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Basic Chemicals.

The role of the candidate is to investigate the optimal design and operation of post-combustion carbon capture technologies aiming to develop a highly-integrated processes for clean coal power generation with low to high emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2);
¿ Preparation of technical reports including process mass balance and energy balance.
¿ To develop a solution to decrease the energy and power consumption through pilot plant solutions for carbon capture projects.
¿ To develop a solution to reduce operation cost to a level that is compatible with other carbon capture technologies.
¿ To value Propositions for Process Technologies
¿ Preparation of Bankable Feasibility Studies for New Projects
¿ To Provide Support in Business Development Activities
¿ Defining and Selection of process units and equipment
¿ Supervising the Process Engineering activities
¿ Review of Vendor¿s proposal
¿ Project Interface Management
¿ Engineering and Project Execution of Industrial Pilot plant from Concept to Commissioning
¿ To conduct Project HSE screening and prepare Technical Safety deliverables
¿ To conduct Manage SIL reviews
¿ To conduct HAZIDs / HAZOPs for new projects and Existing Facilities Modifications
¿ To provide process support in plant monitoring and trouble shooting.
¿ To supervise process support for CDM project

Minimum Requirements:
¿ PHD or M. Sc in Chemical Engineering
¿ Solutions Driven
¿ Excellent mathematical modeling and computational skills.
¿ Prepared to work as part of a team with others in the Research Group as well as with collaborators and research partners globally.
¿ Performs presentation to clients and stackholders.
