Our cleint, a leading Oil & Gas company, is looking to recruit candidates for the above position.

This vacancy is with our client, French Collaboration Company undertaking projects in oil & gas sector.

Activities ¿ Required
1. Onshore preparation of offshore construction work packs, pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers
2. Supports construction Superintendent during construction execution phase but Reports to Commissioning Site Leader during preparation and execution of Pre-commissioning and commissioning
3. Ensures that safety, health, environment policy and Management systems are adhered to by the Construction and Commissioning teams and tat safe working practices are carried out at all times
4. Interface with Project Management team Discipline Engineers and Operations
5. Assist in interfaces between the project work packages during the preparation and the execution of the commissioning
6. Ensure safe construction, pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities for his discipline
7. Ensure plant is pre-commissioned and commissioned as per company specification (OPERCOM) and in line with clarifications. Instruction of the commissioning site leader
8. Manage E&I team and E&I vendors

HSE Activities:
¿ Conduct all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe and if in doubt, consults leader before proceeding
¿ Ensure full compliance with QHSE policies and procedures in all areas of responsibility at all times
¿ Use PTW system for all construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities

Preparation Phase:

¿ Assist the Construction team for preparation of:
Work Packs: instrument cable routing, instrument installation and appropriate tests
¿ Assist the Commissioning team for preparation of:
? FATS review and monitoring of FATS punch list
? E&I ICAPS database
? Instrumentation calibration test procedure
? Cable test procedure
? Control system and instrumentation loops commissioning procedure
? Operations Test procedures: ESD and F&G, Metering systems
? Tools, consumables and commissioning spare parts requirements
? Participation in the Pre-commissioning and commissioning planning

Execution Phase:
¿ Responsible for the compliance of his discipline with pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and safety rules
¿ Execute and supervise E&I construction activities
¿ Execute and Supervise E&I pre-commissioning activities: calibration, tubing pressure tests, cable megger tests, earthing checks, packages conformity etc
¿ Execute and Supervise commissioning activities: loops checks, logic tests ( DCS/ESD), OTP etc
¿ Supervise vendors for SATs activities
¿ Manage the punch list clearance
¿ Responsible of E&I as build mark up
¿ Prepare a smooth hand over to operation of E7I related Systems ¿ Liaise with ICAPS administrator
¿ Ensure adequate preservation of E&I equipment
¿ Assist start-up team of required

Required Skills:
¿ Senior E&I Lead with recognized 10 years experience in oil & gas operations Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up.
¿ Must have worked on offshore projects and on Brownfield projects
¿ Experience in developing offshore work packs, pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and Dossiers
¿ Thorough knowledge of oil & gas Industry Safe Working Practices
¿ Experience in interface with Client(s), operations and contractors, Able to be a Team player, decision maker and Leadership qualities
¿ English written and spoken fluently
¿ Good written and communication English
¿ Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures

Qualification & Experience Required:
¿ Minimum 10 years experience in offshore oil & gas commissioning projects, including knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS
¿ Excellent skills in MS office software, such as Word and Excel ¿ to enable development of all Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Packs/Dossiers etc
¿ Excellent written and communication in English
¿ Able to work as part of a Team or as an individual

Work Location:
Onshore ¿ based in Abu Dhabi office until Feb 2013
Offshore ¿ Rotational 29/27 from Approx Feb 2013
