Job description

Mission:
¿ Full responsibility of the Academy sponsoring programme including selection, testing and follow-up of all sponsorees.
¿ Organize with Education Development Centre support, all company Academy sports and in/out evening activities.

Activities Required:
¿ Responsible for managing the company Education Development Centre sponsorship training program, including the recruitment (coordinating testing, interviewing & selection) of student applicants and administration (including the preparation, updating and maintenance) of all academic, attendance and student support records.
¿ Responsible for ensuring all company sponsored trainees are assessed properly and reach the level of completeness while attending Education center under company sponsorship
¿ Oversees the development/editing of company assessments for (periodic) assessing of all sponsored students
¿ Monitors and reports continuing student academic and behavioral progress and class attendance regularly to company Academy and Education center management
¿ Communicates with company Academy and Education Center Student Counselors and Lead Teachers to address special academic and/or social related problems of sponsored students
¿ Interfaces between company Academy and Education Center management on all matters pertaining to the company-Education Center sponsorship program.
¿ Coordination with Education Center Sport complex to organize sport activities, attendance and assessment.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
¿ Should have Educational experience with significant knowledge of teaching practices
¿ Good Technical knowledge of Petroleum Engineering
¿ Significant operational experience in oil industry
The job holder may take some decision at his level to ensure that sponsorees take full benefice of the training

Minimum Requirements:
¿ BA/B.Sc or equivalent
¿ Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in technical education in UAE
¿ Very good Arabic is required
¿ Good English is required
¿ Good knowledge of Education and Middle East culture
¿ Good knowledge and practice of the young Nationals
¿ Good practice of sports
