Job description

This vacancy is with our client, specialized in the design, manufacture and support of electronic equipment and systems.
Role:
Specialized technician capable of proficiently utilizing tools (specific PC based programs) and instruments in order to:
¿ Carry out functional checks on complex electronic assemblies,
¿ Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, at system, unit and assembly level, making use of system diagnostic routines (BITE), jigs and general purpose electronic instrumentation,
¿ Conduct final testing to certify successful repair.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical skills:
¿ Specialized in handling and repairing systems, units and assemblies involving Digital processing and at least other 2 of the following elements:
? Video and Analogic,
? RF at Microwave frequency,
? Power Supply
¿ Good knowledge of basic laboratory electronic instrumentation, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum and Network Analyzers, Logic State Analyzers, RF, Pulse and Video generators
¿ Knowledge of electronic workshop tools.
¿ Capable of reading complex schematic diagrams and technical documentation in English language,
¿ Knowledge of general and specific Quality Assurance rules to manage military grade electronic systems and assemblies: capable and willing of consequent detailed reporting, including Technical Report, Fault Analysis , Fault Repair, Fault History Reports, along with general knowledge of main logistic concepts like MTBF, TAT, ILM, OLM etc.
¿ Good knowledge of PC based office tools, Microsoft Office, Internet etc.


Minimum Requirements:
? Graduate in Electronics and/or telecommunications sciences.
? Minimum 3 years of working experience as maintenance technician of complex electronic systems (i.e. Radar, communication). Extended periods at final customer premises a plus.
