Job description

The person has to develop concepts & ideas created by the discipline engineers and project engineers, and develop them into details CAD drawings to fulfill the requirements of the project.
Prepare drawings such as general layout, general arrangements, working drawings, technical details, shop drawings, material take-off¿s;
Take site measurements and prepare as-built drawings
Performing self-check on the drawing output. This includes conformance of the output with the conceptual project requirements and the technical details within their discipline.
Co-ordination of their discipline drawings with other discipline draftspersons
Adherence to Company Policy and QA requirements as per ISO 9001
Preparing drawings and present ideas for the client to review;
Select penetration details which match the design parameters of the decks/
bulkheads to which they penetrate;
Detailing of equipment supports for all equipment co-ordinating those of other disciplines;
Consideration of maintenance access for all equipment and instrumentation installed including any special material handling appliances required to install / remove equipment;
Perform clash checks with discipline services such as heating, ventilation, and air- conditioning ducts, paths for plumbing pipes & electrical wiring;
Developing final construction plans as well as details for construction;
Visiting the site frequently to check that the construction reflects the drawings;
Lead the drafting team, and ensure co-ordination with other discipline, supervise the junior Draftspersons.

Diploma in Engineering with minimum 12 years relevant work experience with Diploma or 15 years relevant work experience with I.T.I
Qualified and experienced in the use of PDMS
Proficient in AutoCAD 2008 or higher
