Job description

Our client, a company undertaking oil and gas projects is looking forward to recruit Draftsman / Checker - Electrical Drawings

Technical Skill Sets:
¿ Preparation of Layout, Single Line Diagram, Wiring Diagram, Datasheet, MTO, Procedure
¿ Understand specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment for offshore platforms
¿ Prepare interface wiring diagrams between generators and switchgear.
¿ Design of electrical and instrumentation for process equipments of large petrochemical complex like motors, transformers, transmitters, controllers, moisture analyzer, metal detectors, DCS systems.
¿ To prepare review and approve detailed and general arrangement drawings such as: JB layouts, Cable/rack routing, Single Line Diagrams etc.,
¿ To prepare Electrical Load List, Block diagrams, Earthing installation, Termination diagrams, mounting details for racks and equipment, P&ID tagging.
¿ Preparing Instrument Hook up diagrams and material take off.
¿ Preparing Cable schedule, cable tray routing diagrams
Management Skill Sets:
¿ Self starter, Thorough, diligent and pay attention to details with minimum supervision and review
¿ Coordination of information, requirements and needs with other disciplines directly related to the Electrical design.
¿ Good communication skills.

Qualifications:
¿ Diploma in electrical engineering or related background.
¿ 8-10 years experience with Consulting / EPC Firms of which at least 5 years must be in Oil & Gas sector
