Our client, a construction & contracting company undertaking Oil and Gas Projects is looking forward to recruit Senior Welding Engineer

Responsibilities of Senior Welding Engineer shall include:
- Review of design drawings and documents,
- Preparation of method statements,
- Advise and supervise site welding activities,
- Implement quality control system for welding works.

The successful applicant should meet the following requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline with at least 10 years of experience,
- Capable of applying generally accepted engineering principles to the design of welded structures and possess practical knowledge of ferrous and nonferrous materials,
- Have working knowledge of arc welding and other welding technologies,
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of quality control and able to implement quality assurance programs,
- Have experience in Oil & Gas sector, and with track records of major pipeline installation or surface facilities installation projects,
- Ability to work with minimum supervision,
- Have good communication and reporting skills, and ability to communicate in Arabic will be an added advantage,
- Medically fit and willing to work in Iraq on rotation of one month vacation after every four months of work.
