Job description
This vacancy is with our client, leading Consulting firm based in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities:
¿ The Information Technology Officer is responsible for IT infrastructure planning and setup, administration, troubleshooting, training as about hardware, software and network.
¿ Manage day-to-day support of IT systems including installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network, hardware and software related issues.
¿ Analyzes potential solutions and implements a solution that best fixes any IT problem.
¿ Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the center.
¿ Provides general technical assistance to about 20-30 users/staffs in a timely and efficient manner.
¿ Ensure confidentiality and reliability of data, proprietary information, and intellectual property
Minimum Requirements:
¿ BA or BS degree in CS, EE, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems is preferred
¿ At least 3 years of experience with IT support & management, Intranet, Internet, WAN, LAN
¿ Knowledge of major operating systems including Windows & Mac OS
¿ In depth technical knowledge of PC hardware
¿ Knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of IT management
¿ Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve IT network/operating system issues
