Our client, a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Senior Advisor Reservoir Engineering

Basic Function
¿ Provides expert advice to higher Management on reservoir modelling, simulation results, reservoir management and special reservoir studies and packages.
¿ Advises higher management on current and future R&D activities, including the identifications and recommendations of EOR programs and projects where research can be initiated/applied to Abu Dhabi reservoirs.
¿ Examines and reviews various reservoir study reports, and recommends actions/techniques to improve the field development plans and data gathering programs and to ensure proper implementation of company¿s objectives and reservoir guidelines.
¿ Attends regular meetings, task forces and presentations with interest holders, consultants and service companies as company representative to discuss and advise on reservoir modelling and simulation, software matters, R&D, reservoir technology and hydrocarbon reserves.
¿ Maintains an external perspective on reservoir technology and lead peer reviews of company processes and studies to ensure best practice implementation, knowledge transfer and learning.
¿ Provides expert advice to higher Management on the development, coaching and mentoring of UAE reservoir engineers.

Minimum Requirements
¿ University degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant Engineering, Ph.D. degree is recommended.
¿ 15 years experience in different disciplines of petroleum engineering of which 10 years should be in petroleum development including 5 years in advisory capacity
¿ High level of proficiency in English and Arabic
