Our client, a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Harbor Master

Basic Function

¿ Directs and controls the compliance of Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Law No. 1973 and subsequent amendments, legislative orders and decisions, including port regulations.
¿ Directs all marine activities within port limits and maintains close supervision over primary contracted port operator to ensure safe and economic port management.
¿ Develops cooperation between port users to offer seamless experience coupled with more commercial focus to ensure competitiveness and optimize port capacity with increased safety and minimize impact on environment.
¿ Promotes port operations appropriate strategies, long term planning and definition of major issues.
¿ Advises all port users, on marine and port safety standards

Minimum Requirements
¿ Master Mariner class ¿ I, issues by recognized governmental organization
¿ 15 years in marine fields, including minimum 4 years onboard tankers in senior/management capacity with a recognized shipping carrier 3 years of which direct relevant experience in petroleum terminal operations in a managerial capacity, preferably in terminals similar to PPA jurisdiction ports
¿ Fluent in spoken and written English
