Job Description:

¿ Experienced in the engineering of decks & modular units for offshore oil & gas platforms, including the design and analysis of topsides, appurtenances and related secondary structures for the full range of load conditions to which they may be subjected.
¿ Experienced in various in-service related structural analyses such as in place with dynamic response, Eigen-value, wave response, spectral fatigue and pushover (or reserve strength ratio).
¿ Experienced in various installation related structural analyses viz., lifting, load out, transportation, floatation, upending, on-bottom stability, mud mat design and pile drivability.
¿ Must have contributed at a senior position to Conceptual, FEED studies for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
¿ Must be familiar with range of proprietary software including SACS and familiar with engineering codes including API, AISC, and DNV also client¿s technical standard such as Shell SES.
¿ Experienced in Blast Resistant Design/Analysis for various Offshore / Onshore structures as per API/ASCE Standards.
¿ Design to the following codes of practice and regulations; API RP/2A, AISC, DNV, Lloyds and ABS regulations.
¿ Check structural drawings for correctness and consistency with applicable Codes.
¿ Development of analysis reports, collection and interpretation of output data from analyses.
¿ Development of Layout/Equipment, General Arrangement, and structural material-take-off for fixed platforms.
Management Skill Sets:
¿ Deep Knowledge of project development: preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final safe turnover to proponent.
¿ Experience in development of material requisitions and technical evaluation of received proposals.
¿ Attending Coordination meetings with client, vendors and subcontractors.
¿ Time (hours) estimation for project development (engineering).
¿ Manage contractor preparation of detailed design, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.
¿ Communicating with all levels of management.

Qualifications:
¿ Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering.
¿ Affiliation to professional bodies in the field of specialization.
¿ Minimum 15 years experience with Consulting / EPC Firms.
