Job description
¿ Liaise with Ships Staff regarding Operational Repair and Maintenance requirements on board all Company Vessels.¿ Prioritize work and devolve to Vessel Staff or Sub Contractors as considered necessary and appropriate
¿ To liaise with Shore based contractors ensuring all works proceed in accordance with the costs and time limits set.
¿ To comply where appropriate with the Company¿s procedures and policies in accordance with the requirements of the ISM Code and ISO 9001 procedure
¿ Control costs with regard to Shore contractors¿ invoices and ensure that all works invoiced were done.
¿ Frequent inspection of the condition of hull and machinery spaces of all vessels to ensure maintenance and repair meet regulatory codes and standards.
¿ Experienced and certificated Marine Engineers
¿ Experience of DSV, New built, semi submersibles mandatory
¿ Min 3 years shore experience as Engineering superintendent and Sailing experience as Chief Engineer with sub-sea construction vessels is a must.
Minimum Qualifications
¿ Degree/Diploma in Engineering & Unlimited Chief Engineer¿s license is a Must!!!!!
