Our client, a leading oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Medical Assistant

Purpose and Scope:

Carries out and executes variety of clerical and administrative duties in the Medical Services Section. Includes processing, following up and collecting various medical documents related to the execution of Company medical policy and procedures with the Insurance Company. Assists the Medical Coordinator to serve the interest of company employees to have the best quality medical care and to protect company¿s interest

Main Duties Performed:
¿ Receives medical enrolment forms, ensures that employees have submitted the required documents and processes according to company established policy and procedures.
¿ Prepares, according to the direction, the drafts for necessary communications with the contractor, the employees and Management.
¿ Prepares and carries out various routine work, daily or weekly as directed by his supervisor and established procedures.
¿ Receives daily queries and all related documents form employees. Processes and submits to his/her supervisor.
¿ Assists in submitting invoices received from the Insurance Company for payment.
¿ Processes and enters data in computer, records, and stores and presents them for different purposes and reports.
¿ Assists in preparation to process the medical care and services tender with the assigned bodies in company.
¿ Participates to coordinate between the two contracted parties (company and the Insurance Company) to protect and serve the interest and the rights of company employees and the company¿s interest as well.
¿ Contributes to evaluate the contract annually and submits recommendations to Management for decision
¿ Carries out the preliminary investigation about the complaints coming from the company employees, records the complaints, submits and follows their reply.
¿ Assists to maintain cooperative working relationships with his counterparts in ADNOC Group and exchange with the similar jobs information, forms and experiences for the benefit of the Company and the Group.
¿ Maintains a regular follow up with all outside authorities i.e. government authorities, health ministry, government and private hospitals, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ Completion of secondary education, 12 years
¿ 5 years¿ experience in Medical Care Services Administration
¿ Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic
¿ Computer literate with demonstrated experience in MS Office and database application
