Job description
Minimum Requirements:¿ University degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/chemical technology (minimum B. Sc)
¿ Experience of 10 + years in gas/oil and petroleum industry
¿ Has a vast knowledge of chromatography, spectrometry, wet chemistry, related calibrations and analytical calculations
¿ Experience in all sampling techniques and handling highly pressurized toxic gases and liquids
¿ Knowledge of the hazards and HSE procedures in sour gas plants and analytical laboratories
¿ Experience in calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory instruments such as gas chromatographs, SCDs etc
¿ Application of statistical techniques for validation of methods and equipments
¿ Experience in managing LIMS systems
¿ Experience in the development of laboratory policies and procedures
¿ Well familiar with Standard testing methods
¿ Computer literacy. Networking and electronics knowledge is desirable
¿ Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with positive attitude, organization and clear ownership of issues.
¿ Ability to prioritize and reprioritize work quickly
