Job description

¿ Directs and supervises the assigned personnel in the Baynounah Club ensuring provision of adequate catering and recreation services.
¿ Participates in negotiation, preparation of contracts and supervises the execution of contract services ensuring proper compliance with the terms of contract and specification of requirements.
¿ Promotes, coordinates and provides a variety of social, cultural and sporting activities for company employees and their families.
¿ Ensures that the required hygiene standards are met by the contractors to the satisfaction of the users.
¿ Advises the catering contractor on the preparation of menus and regularly inspects the kitchen and restaurant to ensure the quality meets the specified standards.
¿ Supervises the day to day activities of the Club including recreational facilities, video library, theatre, and library and ensures that the rules are observed and the services provided are utilized effectively.
¿ Negotiates annually with the respective Hotels for membership facilities and thereafter issues the respective membership cards.
¿ Plans and supervises all catering facilities for VIP functions, meetings and outside catering for a variety of functions.
¿ Supervises periodic outings, trips, children¿s activities, ladies events and other activities organized by the Club Committee as well as 4/5 trips a year to other Emirates for employees and their families.
¿ Recommends policies, procedures and systems encompassing catering and recreational activities and periodically reviews them to reflect changing requirements and customer needs.
¿ Advises on all catering policy matters for Abu Dhabi and Das Island and performs on-site inspections of catering facilities.
¿ Establishes the Catering Section¿s requirements for providing excellence in service and makes technical evaluation of furniture, fixtures and equipment and recommends renovation in Club and catering facilities.
¿ Assists in the preparation of the sections Operational manpower needs, IT requirements and budgets.
¿ Liases with Hotels and catering establishments on all Company requirements.
¿ Ensures that the Company¿s Health, Safety and Environment policy is adhered to by the contractors, trains contractors personnel on HSE matters and conducts periodic inspection and accident investigation.
¿ Develops and conducts training and orientation programs for staff and contractors personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition from an institute of International repute. Preferably with diploma in HACCP
¿ 7 years¿ experience in Hotel and catering administration with 4 years¿ experience in a supervisory capacity.
¿ Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food & beverage menus and preparation
¿ Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
¿ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
¿ Good Customer relations with attention to detail
