Our client, an oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit Senior Financial Systems & Procedures Accountant

Purpose and Scope
¿ Implement through SAP system for the allocation of Divisional Cost Center Operation & Maintenance costs to Plant cost centers through SAP based on the Study. This is to enable computation of operating and maintenance costs allocations to the Plant cost centers.
¿ Provide support to the current study & implementation of invoice management system and vendor portal.
¿ Extend high level support to Financial Systems & Procedures Department in respect of the following:
- Develop, enhance, customize and implement additional functionalities of the SAP System integrated applications: financial accounting, Treasury, Controlling, Project System modules, including re-engineering of current business processes to increase efficiency and output.
- Co-ordinate with ITD for SAP FICO module configuration / updates / reports
- Review current financial/cost application systems including SAP R/3 with a view to improve efficiency and to conform to prescribed standards. Assesse analysis Users¿ requirements and determines needs for implementing additional functionalities or enhancing implemented functionalities.
- Keep abreast of developments in the areas of financial systems, procedures and work methods, prescribed financial, accounting and auditing standards, to provide advice on financial systems.
- Review current financial/cost application systems including SAP R/3 with a view to improve efficiency and to conform to prescribed standards. Assesse analysis Users¿ requirements and determines needs for implementing additional functionalities or enhancing implemented functionalities.
- Ensure that SAP Financial System satisfies the user requirements and adequate controls are in place.

Minimum Requirements
¿ Certified CPA or CMA with Cost Accounting experience. Bachelor in Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent.
¿ Above 6 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry related to accounting work, systems analysis, design implementation and modification of integrated computer based accounting systems, in SAP R/3 Finance Modules
¿ Good communication skills (essential).
¿ Good working knowledge of PC and presentation skills.
¿ Very good knowledge of written and spoken English language.
