This vacancy is with our government client in Abu Dhabi

Job Description
Develop and manage tenders for the procurement of materials and services, from the bidders¿ selection stage through RFQ/RFP, tendering, evaluation to creating the purchase orders and agreements. This position is accountable for ensuring that quality goods and services are procured at an economic price.
¿ Collaborate with internal and external business partners to develop purchasing requisitions and supporting documents.
¿ Negotiate complex agreements with suppliers.
? Participate in regular meetings to identify problems, target dates, issues and delays
? Represent Purchasing interests in evaluation of proposals and bids
? Coordinate legal, administrative and financial matters related to purchasing
? Develop purchasing forecast
? Execute and monitor approved purchase orders.
? Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased costs, delivery, product quality or performance.
? Co-ordinates with other divisions to identify needs of ADSM as a whole to economise ordered quantities and reduce ordering, inventory holding costs and delivery time.
? Develop strategic supplier relationships.
? Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and develop reporting tools.
? Support Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE) activities, policies and objectives of company and compliance with the laws and regulations of Abu Dhabi and UAE.
? Protects operations by keeping information confidential
? Performs any other task of duties as may be required by line manager.
