Job description

Our client, a government company is looking forward to recruit candidates for the above position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
¿ Receives and evaluates end user needs in response to requests to develop new applications or enhance existing applications.
¿ Develops user requirements by assessing end user needs; defines and documents requirements; and determines if system coordination or interface is required across departments.
¿ Designs, develops, analyzes, implements, and maintains high quality deliverables for programming, customizations, tuning and integration of software systems.
¿ Fixes software bugs and performance issues
¿ Identifies programming solutions and technology
¿ maintains the software code of all programs
¿ Performs programming tasks and testing
¿ Prepares programs for integration with other programs as needed by the environment
¿ Responsible for providing documentation on how to use the produced applications, libraries, classes and any reusable code
¿ Develops, Implements and Enhances API¿s for Oracle Applications
¿ Develops reports using Oracle Reports, Discoverer and XML Publisher
¿ Approves and reviews code changes before they are moved into the Oracle EBS
¿ ?Creates technical designs from business requirements and develop technical solutions from the designs
¿ Writes comments for code snippets and files
¿ Writes help files, software and systems documentation, technical guides and installation steps
¿ Works with both end users and other IT personnel on teams
¿ Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

EDUCATION
¿ Bachelor¿s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems.
¿ Oracle Certification

EXPERIENCE
¿ + 5years of the following:
o PL/SQL Programming
o Oracle Applications
o UNIX OS
o Oracle
o Report Builder
o Forms and Workflow Development
o Java
¿ Implementation, development, and support experience
¿ EBS (Oracle 11i and 12x) technical knowledge and configuration skills
¿ Experience as an application developer with the Oracle eBusiness suite
¿ Knowledge of Oracle API¿s and open interface tables
¿ Experience with Financials, Supply Chain and HR Oracle modules
¿ Experience with AIM methodology
¿ Experience with Oracle 11i Applications and database structure
¿ Experience with Oracle Discoverer
¿ Experience extending or personalizing self-service within the OA Framework
¿ IT work experience in a university or college a plus.

SKILLS
¿ ?MS Project
¿ UML and Design Patterns
¿ 5+ years experience in SQL, PL/SQL and experience in working on Oracle 11g database.
¿ Understanding of Agile Methodology
¿ 5+ years experience with HTML, XML, Java or Web Services development
¿ Ability to interface with clients
¿ Ability to develop detailed technical requirements / specifications documentation supporting complex system enhancements.
¿ Understanding of common business processes surrounding the use of Oracle*s e-Business Suite to help drive recommendations for process improvements.
¿ Proficiency in English language
