Job description

? Attendance of all vessels during port calls, ensuring the proper allocation of available resources to complete technical work lists.
? Ensuring the timely correction of Electrical / Mechanical defects
reported by all vessels.
Responsible for the performance of all instrumentation and automation on the vessels in conjunction with vessel staff.
? Checking fuel sounding on vessels and ensuring that it is correctly
reported by the vessel.
? Security and maintenance of the Workshop area and equipment used on the jetty.
? Ensure the requirements of the Company Planned Maintenance
System are complied with on the vessels.
? Attending all classification/client surveys.
? Rectification of any recommendations and or deficiencies as a result of the above surveys within the given time frame.
? To ensure sufficient spares and ER consumables are kept in stock/
ordered in time.
?? Should be prepared to go on board to fault find and rectify defects if necessary.
HSE Function:
? Ensuring company policies and procedures with regard to safety and
pollution prevention are met by workshop personnel.
?? Frequent inspection of the condition of hull and machinery spaces of all vessels to ensure maintenance and repair meet regulatory codes and standards.
?? Developing safe working practices for workshop personnel.
Other Functions:
?? Prepare work scopes and docking lists and monthly reports to Fleet
Manager.
?? Prepare dry dock specs along with Master and Chief Engineer of the vessel.
?? Reporting to Country Manager of all works carried out on a daily
basis
?? Prepare reports as required by the Country Manager.

Qualification:
Minimum 3-4 years on-shore experience as Port Engineer or in a similar role on AHTS Vessels mandatory.
Job Specific skills
¿ STCW Certificates must be valid at all times
¿ Dry docking the vessels,
¿ Modification works, mobilize the vessel as per the client¿s requirements.
¿ Rectify the client¿s survey recommendations in time

¿ Good Communication skills (written and oral) in English/ Arabic are mandatory.
