Our client, a French collaborated oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Communication Officer

Role Overview
¿ The candidate will primarily support the director of communications for the Middle East, also based in Dubai, as well as its global office for communications in Europe
¿ The role involves day-to-day implementation of activities aimed at enhancing internal capacity for the company¿s communications across 13 Middle East markets, with a focus on the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Yemen
¿ The candidate will support the director of communications in the deployment of a Middle East communications strategy developed by the global head office. He will also coordinate with the operational teams in regional and global markets as necessary

Experience and Capabilities
¿ Native English/Arabic speaker, excellent written English and if possible Arabic
¿ 5 to 8 years experience in corporate communications or communications agency, possibly in the Energy Sector
¿ Main focus on website design & maintenance, web mastering & social medias management
¿ Experience in event management, media relations appreciated
¿ Team spirit but autonomous, highly organized, dedicated and rigorous, still with capacity to work under stress and time constraints
¿ Flexibility to travel and work outside regular office hours as required is an additional expectation
