Job description

Our client, a prestigious refinery company based in Abu Dhabi is looking forward to recruit candidates for the above position.

Basic Functions
¿ Manages and Supervises operations of Carbon Black, Delayed Coker and Propane Dehydrogenation Unit Plants and their auxiliaries to produce environmental friendly value added predetermined quantities of finished products meeting divisional objectives for the plant
¿ Meets production and quality targets set in conjunction with production planning to meet marketing demands for his department
¿ Ensures optimal consumption of chemicals, energy and other additives to produce right mix and product blends as agreed in all Plants in his area.
¿ Initiates/ recommends plant improvement, modification, and operating/capital budget proposals in line with the best operating practices and industry trends
¿ Monitors the training function in the department to achieve predetermined nationalization targets implements the CBT program
¿ Ensures that the HSEMS system is fully implemented in his department


Requirements
¿ B.Sc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 12 years of diversified experience in Refinery / Gas processing operations, of which 4 years at Carbon Black Delayed Coker Plants.
¿ Candidates must have full knowledge of DCS operations and refinery divisefied equipments (static and rotating) especially high pressure equipment
¿ Computer (MS Office), Maximo. Inspection knowledge
