Job description
Our client, a leading retail outlet based in UAE is looking forward to recruit Assistant Store ManagerReports to: Assistant Manager - Area Operations
Supervises: Sales Assistant / Senior Sales Assistant
Key Accountability
¿ Maximized stores sales for the specific brands
¿ Improve footfalls conversions
¿ Enhance customer satisfaction
¿ Ensure adherence of VM standards
¿ Minimize shrinkages
¿ Adhere to stores operating policies and procedures across all stores
Supervisory Activities
¿ Ensure highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction
¿ Ensure housekeeping and cleaning standards are adhered across select locations
¿ Ensure safety standards are adhered across locations
¿ Ensure adherence of post sales services and customer returns policies
¿ Ensures that merchandise is inspected on receipt by the department, checks for damage, shortage, etc.
¿ Ensure timely response for customer feedback and timely implementation of suggestions, if required
¿ Handle and resolve sales staff grievances
¿ Ensure timely collection and return of merchandise from warehouses
Execution Activities
¿ Adhere to companies policies and procedures of retail operations
¿ Monitors and controls the efficient operation of the pay units
¿ Monitors all types of payments including credit cards, foreign currency, refunds, exchanges, etc
¿ Ensures that the merchandise in the department is displayed as per the standards established by the company
¿ Ensures sales staff follows company policy on service and pay-point procedures
¿ Ensures the maintenance of the highest hygiene and safety standard in the Store
¿ Ensures staff rotations are followed, etc. Meal breaks, days off.
¿ Plans staffing schedules and ensures adequate staff coverage
¿ Assist brand managers and visual merchandisers in the implementation of visual merchandising plans
¿ Reviews stock levels and initiates requisitions, stock replenishment and inventory counts and gets feedback from sales team
¿ Assist in timely stock taking across locations
¿ Ensure that any paperwork including stock invoices and transfer out documentation is controlled and any discrepancies are checked and reported
¿ Monitor and implementation of security measures across select locations to minimize shrinkage
¿ Develop weekly sales floor coverage
¿ Implement standards for store layout, product displays and customer service
¿ Analyze slow moving, non-moving and obsolete items and recommend course of action for disposing such stocks to the Assistant Manager - Area Operations / or brand managers
¿ Provide suggestion to Assistant Manager - Area Operations / Operations Manager in identifying areas of improvement for
- Increasing footfalls,
- Conversion of footfalls
- Sales of merchandise at full price
- Reducing costs of operations
- Improving customer¿s shopping experience across locations
¿ Evaluate and train staff for improving efficiency of operations
¿ Manage accurate cash management at stores
Co-ordination Activities
¿ Co-ordinate with visual merchandiser for visual merchandising activities
Other Requirements
¿ Retail fashion experience is a must.
¿ Only female candidates
¿ Arabic, East European or European (Tunisians, Lebanese, Syrians would be considered only if they are on Husband or Father Sponsorship)
