Job description
Responsibilities include:¿ Direct interaction and communication with clients, consultants and contractors in support and coordination of all project activities.
¿ Relationship building and communication with new and existing clients; maintaining contact with key markets.
¿ Project management and supervision from inception to completion including project coordinator between design team members and other engineering departments.
¿ Responsible for all aspects of project financial performance including meeting deadlines, budget management and quality control on all project requirements.
¿ Preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates.
¿ Mentoring and supervising junior staff.
¿ Production and scheduling, quality control, standardization and technology implementation as and when required.
Ideal candidate will possess the following:
¿ Proven track record in meeting potential clients, closing contracts and maintaining existing clients.
¿ A self-starter who can work well in a team environment.
¿ Demonstrated leadership skills, team coordination and successful project management experience.
¿ Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
¿ Ability to develop a strong rapport with clients and maintain excellent working relationships.
¿ Ability to mentor and supervise staff.
¿ 15+ years of consulting and project management experience, preferably with municipal clients.
¿ Western Nationals preferred.
¿ Salary ¿ negotiable
