Job description

The below vacancy is for our client, oil and gas company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
¿ To coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the PIMS database and applications.
¿ To establish and maintain a system/procedures for PIMS implementation and reporting/auditing.
¿ To coordinate between pipeline integrity group and Maintenance/inspection/operations for data gathering and data quality checks before updating to the pipeline database.
¿ To coordinate the issue of Pipelines Integrity Management Plan with Departments.
¿ To identify integrity related issues and coordinate their resolution internally or externally.
¿ To participate /facilitate AIRMS Development in collaboration with IA division through site integrity advisor.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
¿ Coordinate the issuance and regular review/update of the written Integrity Management Plan (IMP) for all Gasco pipelines through the Pipelines Integrity Management System software solution.
¿ Coordinate the development and regular updates of the required procedures for implementing the PIMS solution, including the core PIMS technical reference manuals.
¿ Coordinate the actions between all departments to collect/review and upload pipeline data to the central pipeline database.
¿ Coordinate with GIS engineer and all disciplines for all new or modified assets to be entered in the central pipeline database.
¿ Coordinate implementation of the written Integrity Management Plan (IMP) and evaluate the effectiveness through verifications or audits.
¿ Identify additional preventative and mitigative measures; determine IMP re-assessment intervals and methods for all pipeline segments.
¿ Coordinate risk assessments and threat analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments to update the PIMS technical reference manuals.
¿ Coordinate the integrity team efforts in operating/maintaining/improving the PIMS Software performance and data quality.
¿ Establish consistent, high pipeline integrity reporting formats and interface with other disciplines to resolve data interpretation challenges as they arise and solicit and synthesize their feedback on improvements, as applicable.
¿ Coordinate the scope of work preparation for subject matter expert expertise (either through Gasco technical support or external) and coordinate the commissioning of reports and follow up on recommendations implementation.

Requirements
¿ Engineering Degree in any discipline (preference is for Mechanical, Metallurgy and Chemical Engineers) with minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industries
