This vacancy is for our client, leading Oil & gas Company under the ADNOC group in Abu Dhabi

Basic Function:

¿ Provide analysis to support management decision making
¿ Plans, prepares and consolidates company budget and business plan
¿ Prepares various standard and ad hoc reports
¿ Ensures integrity of costing related data.

Main Work Performed and Responsibilities:
¿ Provides ad hoc analysis to support management decision making e.g. in the form of product profitability analysis, fixed costs analysis, investment analysis.
¿ Prepares monthly reports distributed internally and to owners
¿ Monitors accounting practice to follow IFRS and company procedures
¿ Participate in the planning of the business plan process, develop guidelines and forms, consolidate data, analyze financials and prepare documentation
¿ Makes forecasts e.g. on earnings, fixed costs, investments and cash flow
¿ Supports the development of systems and structures e.g. cost centre structure, assessment cycles, introduction of profit centers, development of new SAP functionalities e.g. Business Warehouse, new reports.
¿ May have a role as SAP Functional Support (SFS)
¿ Develops and updates functional procedure manuals
¿ Performs system administration duties such as maintenance and updating of master files for the relevant SAP module. E.g. review periodically material prices and cost allocations to ensure accuracy and relevance of systems
¿ Support the IBM process step 4 by maintaining and developing financial models
¿ Development of financial models on ad hoc basis
¿ Support the development of investment project proposals from a financial perspective
¿ Contributes to the development of the investment database and maintenance

Independence of Operation and Decision making Authority:

This position reports to the Controlling Manager. The role holder should act with a high degree of independence in seeking to develop financial analysis that supports increased quality decision making by Management. The role holder is not making independent decisions, but work together with Controlling team and other functions to develop timely and relevant decision making documentation.






Minimum Requirements:

¿ University level or equivalent professional accounting qualifications
¿ Excellent understanding of accounting concepts
¿ Computer literate with ability to work in the SAP FI/CO/BW
¿ Fluent in English
¿ Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Work Location: Head Office, Abu Dhabi
