Background:
The Senior Reliability Engineer reports to the Deputy Maintenance Department Manager (DHBM).
Habshan and Bab, being the biggest gas complex in the world, has a variety of high volume product steams ¿ sales gas; gas re-injection, liquid sulphur; NGL; condensate ¿ which involves a variety of plant and equipment. Electric Generators up to 30MW; Large Gas Turbines; Steam Turbines; Process Gas Compressors; Gas Injection Compressors up 350 bar; Liquid Sulphur handling pumps 150 C; Steam raising and distribution plant; Low temperature cryogenic equipment ¿ 80 C; complex DCS and automation systems; a wide range of utility plant. This range of processes and equipment generates challenging and technically complex maintenance management requiring comprehensive and professional Reliability Management systems to be introduced to ensure continued Technical and Operational Integrity.
The introduction of Reliability Management at Habshan and Bab Gas Complex is the direct responsibility of the Senior Reliability Engineer and his team within the Central Maintenance Group. To compliment this, the Reliability Team in Central Maintenance are also the custodian of the MAXIMO Computerised Maintenance Management system and database. The Reliability Team is the driver for the continuous reliability and integrity improvement processes and are responsible for facilitating root cause analysis. The Reliability teams are also responsible for developing a Maintenance scorecard to monitor operational and technical integrity of key equipment and systems.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
¿ Develop and implement a Reliability Management System to ensure a structured, consistent, multi-discipline approach to reliability and integrity improvement.
¿ Coordinate and facilitate RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), IPF (Instrument Protective Function) analyses to optimize equipment and system maintenance strategies.
¿ To enforce the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all division and department personnel.
¿ Introduce Root Cause Analysis techniques and facilitate equipment failure investigations.
¿ Establish a Reliability, Availability, Integrity threats folder on the common shared server.
¿ In conjunction with the Section Heads in the Central Maintenance Group and the Area Maintenance Section Heads, develop a reliability, availability and integrity improvement plan.
¿ Participate in the development of engineering and technical solutions to improve reliability performance of systems and equipment.
¿ Develop and implement reporting systems and scorecards to identify `bad actors¿ and shortfalls in equipment and system performance utilizing the MAXIMO Maintenance Management System.
¿ Develop and implement on the job training programmes to ensure all MAXIMO users can utilize and interrogate the database as per their job requirements.
¿ Act as division focal point for Reliability Engineering for communication and interfacing with OES Reliability Section.
¿ To ensure development & implementation of Competency Based Training & Development programs, through use of Personal Development Plans (PDP¿s) and UAE Nationalization directives.

CHALLENGES
¿ Promote the awareness and understanding of Reliability Management amongst all Division, Maintenance, Operations and Technical staff.
¿ Deliver fit for purpose reporting systems, which identify `bad actors¿ and shortfalls in Integrity requiring management action and support.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ B. Sc degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineering and 8-10 years of experience in the field of mechanical maintenance/reliability in an Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry
¿ Strong working knowledge of development and implementation of reliability programs including improving equipment performance/reliability - Experience with Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Technologies
