SR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Ruwais Refinery Division
Reporting to: Automation Section Head

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Ensures smoothness of daily / planned maintenance and project follow-up activities related to RRD office automation, servers administration and upgrade, Data network LAN / WAN, Supporting business applications like (LIMS, PACER, Business Objects) and other in-house development Oracle & databases through Systems Engineers. Participates in preparing IT budget requirements, development of policies and procedures related RRD computer users and their applications.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The job of Sr. Systems Engineer is the second level job at Automation Section and reporting directs to Automation Section Head. The jobholder is responsible for the daily / planned maintenance and project follow-up activities related to RRD office Automation computers, servers administration & Data LAN/WAN network, Oracle Database¿s support, in-house development, supporting applications like (LIMS,Pacer,B.O), Data processing budget preparation.

The job requires alertness and implementation of professional development & support policies and procedures related to office automation computers, servers and data network and their applications. Continuous follow-ups / tracking of performance of the long term planned and day-to-day jobs.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
¿ B.Sc. in I.T., Computer Sciences, or equivalent degree.
¿ 7 Years experience in the development and implementation of computer industrial applications and databases, and PC support Hardware and Software and Exchange servers and Networking.
¿ Good knowledge of English both written and spoken.
¿ Computer literate.
¿ Candidates should have experience working in refineries.
