About the job:
¿ Support the implementation of human capabilities plans
¿ Support the promotion of effective people management within Asia Pacific, by developing and communicating policy processes and tools in training and development, competency development, career development
¿ Ensure that company staff are competently developed and coached to implement business objectives by prioritising expertise in design & implementation of learning tools
¿ Participate in the design and development of competency and career management
¿ Maintain competency plans and roadmaps
¿ Design, implement, track, maintain and update competency profiles and associated development interventions
¿ Ensures smooth implementation of competency and assurance within region / team
¿ Conduct region / team level training needs analysis (include data collection, analysis, recommendations) with a view towards development solutions
¿ Design, implement, track and maintain training plans, training budgets, training roadmaps and training programmes
¿ Implement evaluation processes and procedures to ensure quality delivery of learning and development
¿ Ensure training information is updated to facilitate reports
¿ Be responsible for specific competence areas:
o Participate in the design and development of competency and career management
o Maintain competency plans and roadmaps
o Implement, track, maintain and update competency profiles
o Design, develop, implement, review, track and maintain training plans, training roadmaps and training programmes. This could be done in consultation with subject matter experts
¿ Provide train-the-trainer expertise
¿ Facilitate workshops but may not conduct training
¿ Support the implementation of administrative requirements such as audit findings
¿ Support the maintenance of HRIS
¿ Support the implementation of the People Day processes for talent and succession management
¿ Support career development for all employees so as to facilitate growth and development
¿ Support and implement Emiratisation plan through development actions for UAE Nationals in Asia Pacific.
¿ Support the design of selection tools
¿ Coordinates with functional leaders and Unit Managers to prioritize competency and developmental requirements by reference to the Companys business strategy.
¿ Work closely with employees to understand their needs and identify gaps
Update line department on relevant external trends and events
¿ Represent in building corporate profile with external stakeholders
¿ Work closely with line managers to identify relevant developmental plans and to obtain buy-in
¿ Liaise with external networks outside the Company
¿ Contribute to wide network and drive local network to share best practices and to increase participation in decision making
¿ Works closely with the Competence Centre Human Capabilities in Abu Dhabi HR as well as the HR teams in Asia Pacific

Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will have:
¿ University degree with postgraduate qualification in HRD or HRM
¿ 3-5 years experience in the planning and implementation of competency development, career development and training in a large international establishment
¿ Experience in training and competency development in Asia Pacific markets
¿ Knowledge of relevant systems and processes
¿ Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and regulations
¿ KNowledge of Organizational development and has good facilitation skills
¿ Knowledge of Training design, analysis and process
¿ Knowledge in HRIS
¿ Extremely proficient in Microsoft office applications especially MS Excel and powerpoint
¿ Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage
¿ Excellent spoken and written English
¿ Good Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
¿ Systems orientation in planning
¿ Competence in relevant systems/ tools
¿ Excellent presentation skills
¿ Act as a change agent
