Job description

Our client a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Environmental & Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator.

Purpose

To coordinate activities related to energy efficiency and environmental including studies, projects, operational optimizations, reporting and benchmarking
Responsible to devise and enforce strategies for environmental & energy efficiency projects being executed by the Technical & Projects Groups and Operation Divisions
To coordinate and focus on and enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance efforts

Main Accountabilities

¿ To formulate, develop and impart systematic energy conservation training to technical staff
¿ To create public awareness about energy conservation across all divisions
¿ To conduct and coordinate in performance evaluation of major energy consuming equipments like Pumps, Fired Heaters, Boilers and Compressors
¿ To assist the senior coordinator to develop scope of work or energy efficiency and emission reduction studies and projects and to provide technical support to Plants during execution
¿ To assist the senior coordinator in developing and updating plans for future energy conservation studies and initiatives
¿ To coordinate enhancement of operating practices (optimization) to reduce emissions and improve Energy Efficiency (Fuel, Steam & Power) at Plants
¿ To assist senior coordinator in energy efficiency reviews and studies in projects and compile recommendation reports
¿ To keep abreast with best available technologies for energy efficiency and work towards its application as appropriate at plant
¿ To coordinate with external authorities and parties on issues relevant to energy conservation and emissions

Minimum Requirements
¿ 10 to 15 years of experience in operations and process engineering of Gas processing plants including amine absorption units, Sulphur recovery units and liquid recovery units.
¿ Specialist skills of adopting energy efficiency practices, standards, techniques and ability to qualify and quantify their positive impact on the system.
¿ Above average knowledge of process engineering related software¿s and other softwares such as Microsoft excel, words, power points etc.
¿ Team work attitude and supporting interpersonal skills.
