Our client, a Government Company is looking forward to recruit suitable candidates for the above position.


Reporting to site supply chain function manager, you will be part of the global supply chain team, and you will be responsible for:
¿ Preparation monthly plans, forecasts and schedules for production and packaging as per agreed plans.
¿ Ensuring timely input and information regarding sales planning passed on to the procurement department to enable them to carry out the raw material requirement such us (packaging materials, etc.) and manage all warehousing activities.
¿ Guiding, training and motivating subordinates to perform to their best potential to maintain an efficient and effective plaffnning and packaging process.
¿ Encouraging subordinates to work closely with all production units and develop smooth working relations.
¿ Ensuring optimum utilisation of systems available as an aid to the accurate and effective planning and packaging processes.
¿ Preparing management reports, analyses and presentations, etc.
¿ Ensuring timely, adequate and safe storage for finished products in Ruwais.
¿ Overseeing product handling activities from the safety angle and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and environment related provisions as per the Companys regulations.
¿ Evaluating and developing raw materials suppliers to ensure continuous quality, cost effective and reliable supplies.
¿ Managing and supervising logistics service provider to carry out the site Materials Handling operation.
¿ Ensuring speedy and satisfactory resolution of complaints related to Materials Handling.
¿ Initiating projects aimed at increasing efficiency of the site Materials Handling process and improvement of the cost structure.
¿ Budgeting and forecasting the yearly cost allocation and maintain minimum expenses.

Minimum Requirements
¿ Bachelor / Master Degree preferably in an engineering discipline
¿ 10 years work experience with minimum 5 years in Logistics & Management functions.
¿ Good managerial and leadership skills.
¿ Good presentation and negotiation skills.
¿ Right Problem solving and decision making skills.
¿ Good organizing, coordination and planning skills.
¿ Relevant IT System skills.
