Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Reporting To: Engineering & Technical Projects Section Head (HBT/E).
Responsibilities:

• To coordinate and provide technical expertise in Management of section Projects.
• To coordinate and supervise in the development of tender documentation for the selection of the Engineering Consultant and Contractors.
• To provide professional expertise in the selection of contractors with particular emphasis on pre-qualification, bid evaluation etc., and site management in relation to site arrangements, overall logistics, etc.
• To participate, coordinate and assist in the development of detailed statement of requirements (SOR) and strategy for implementation of various project phases, such as, FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning.
• To comment on contractor documentation manage distribution of these documentation to all concerned parties for comments received and consolidate comments and issue to contractors. Incase of conflicting comments mediate and resolve these conflicts.
• To direct and supervise the activities of assigned specialist to the project during engineering and construction phases.
• To coordinate and monitor the progress of work performed by licensors, engineering and EPC contractors. Identify any bottlenecks and recommend corrective action to ensure smooth and timely completion of each project.
• To ensure proper coordination between the Project Management Team (PMT). End user and Engineer/contractor and other parties involved in the project to ensure proper progress of the project.
• To ensure that contractors strategy, plans, specifications, methods and procedures for construction are in accordance with the scope of work, specification etc
• To ensure that State of Art Technology is applied in the selection of equipment, material, systems, work methods, testing etc.
• To ensure cost effective solutions and application of value added in the area of construction strategy, plans. Specifications. Methods and procedure throughout the assigned Project
• To certify Contractors invoices and endorse for payment, review cost variations and provide recommendation/trends to management.
• To ensure safety of work methods, procedures and installation and review site safety audit plans and lead the team for site safety audit implementation.
• To monitor and manage project completion punch list and ensure that all construction and commissioning activities are completed and accepted to allow release of Client to contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• To supervise, coordinate and ensure the timely completion of the assigned projects within budget and meeting quality and HSE standards includes review and comments on various stages of project documents.
• The Candidates shall have good experience in working with Projects specially pipeline projects.
• Mechanical or Pipeline engineering back ground with very good technical skills.
• The candidate shall have the skills to coordinate and supervise multi contractors.
• As the candidate will work under the Technical projects Department, he should be able to provide and prepare progress reports, so candidate should have good experience in managing multi projects and have worked in all projects phases.
