Our client, a leading oil and gas company is looking forward to recruit Telecom Specialist

Details
¿ Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves network problems encountered by company-wide users which include servers, desktop systems, Internet and other computer technology in Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN)
¿ Provides Technical Support & Expertise to end-users regarding networking cabling systems and optimal set-up. Supervise all structured cabling projects carried out by contractors
¿ Carries out installation/setting up to wide Video Conferencing systems, VoIP telephony system, Wireless Network, highly sophisticated collaboration centre and Excellence Centre
¿ Configures access (Layer 2) switches, wireless access points, modems and RAS routers for any new installations and/or day-to-day operation
¿ Supervises and coordinates responses with the help desk. Maintains repair records in coordination with help desk.
¿ Reports faults related to Etisalat Data leased services to Etisalat helpdesk, follows up with Etisalat technical team to rectify the problem
¿ Diploma in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering with 5-6 years hands on experience in Telecommunication and IT Networking; especially in Cisco Switches, routers, VoIP Phones and Video Conferencing technology. Experience in handling modern test equipments like OTDR, Link Runner Pro and OptiView 3
