Job description
Our client a leading Retail Industry is hiring for the below position:Position: Senior Merchandiser
Location: Dubai
¿ Establish pre-season sales and margin plans, together with the inventory levels required to support them.
¿ Analyze multiple seasons of historical performance to establish trends and opportunities
¿ Develop detail plans from departmental goals that leverage opportunities and ensure that product strategies are achievable.
¿ Partner with merchandiser and store team to balance inventory and assortment across the stores.
¿ Responsible for product selection and assortment decisions
¿ Responsible for setting product pricing through margin analysis and competitive market research.
¿ Managing Inventory, creating inventory balance of old and new stock in the system.
¿ Strong understanding of merchandising financials and ability to manage profitability.
¿ Experience in retail buying is an added advantage.
¿ Develop season launch calendar and task list for effective implementation of season change.
¿ Develop distribution and category plans for the sale launch and effectively co-coordinating with the store teams to achieve the brand objectives.
