This vacancy is with our client, leading oil & gas undertaking projects in oil & gas sector.

Basic Function and Scope:
Perform variety of administrative and analytical tasks related to stock Accounting, inventory management and purchasing. Administer and monitor the accounting for stock and disposal items. Produce critical Business Reports related to Supply Chain Managements and capture the spend data for materials and services. Develop plans and strategies based on forecasts for future demand and expenditure for stock, purchases and services, Perform cost / benefit analysis on planned acquisitions i.e. Purchase price variance, Total cost of ownership (TC00) etc.
Task, Duties and Accountabilities:
¿ Control and monitor the accounting for stock materials and divisional budget.
¿ Administer and review stock materials to identify surplus, redundant and obsolete materials.
¿ Control and Monitor stock movements between book 1 (joint operations) and book 3 (ADNOC Sole Risk operations) and effect required accounting entries.
¿ Ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock transactions and the interface between the Materials and Maintenance System.
¿ Coordinates and maintain the Commercial Division budget and annual five year business plan for stock materials.
¿ Control and monitor system stock transactions to ensure compliance with provisions of company Accounting Guidelines.
¿ Analyze and Produce the spend data Reports for purchases and contracts, by conducting special studies and present final reports to Supply Chain Management for taking strategic decisions,
¿ Analyze and produce the critical Business Reports required for Company financial year end statements such as:
¿ Stock Provision and Ageing Analysis
¿ Stock Certificate Reports
¿ Stock ABC Analysis Reports
¿ Materials year-end Accruals Reports
¿ FINCO Stock Status Reports
¿ Produce data related to stock movements and stock holding during the year to cover
¿ Extended Peril Breakdown Blanket Insurance through ADNOC Central Policy.
¿ Analyze and report on the ongoing impacts of stock materials on future inventory purchases and requirements. Review and recommend appropriate approaches/ tools to measure stock indicators such as Stock Cover, Stock Target and Stock Levels, etc
¿ Control and monitor stock holding through continuous monitoring of consumption of high value and fast moving Items by producing the vital ABC Analyses reports for Procurement departments.
¿ Analyze and issue Month-end Corporate Activity Report and Key performance indicators (Business Plan) for stock materials for the division
¿ Control Variations to Purchase Orders in Materials sod Maintenance System (SAP)
¿ Coordinate with Financial Accountants for stock reconciliations, transactions and value on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
¿ Benchmark company stock control techniques with those of other OPCOs and "Industry Best Practices".
¿ Monitor arid Control system reliability through close out of completed stock transactions and provide support to Commercial Division staff and End Users on matters related to Data processing and any other quires and clarification in Materials and Maintenance System (SAP). Control additions of new items to Inventory and stock withdrawals by ensuring
? Compliance with budgetary provisions, and
? Authorization at appropriate levels
¿ Train peer employees, including UAE nationals in Stock Control activities
¿ Any other assignments as advised by the supervisor

Work Contacts:
¿ Daily Contacts with Commercial Division staff includes Warehouse management Staff and Finance E. Control staff.
¿ Procurement Supervisors and Liaison Engineers, on daily basis
¿ Auditors (Internal E. External) as required
¿ Commercial Division Management on occasional basis.

Minimum Requirements:
¿ Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent
¿ Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Stores Stock or Accounting/Materials System Environment within the oil/gas industry
¿ Good knowledge of PC & standard software applications
¿ Very good knowledge of both written & spoken English
