Job description

Qualification:- Bachelors or Master of Science degree in Safety, Health, Environment,Technical, Scientific, or related engineering field from an Accredited University.

Minimum Requirements: -
¿Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil/gas Industry.
¿Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial position.
¿Experience on large scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects preferred.
¿Has clearly demonstrated strong occupational HSE Management and technical Competencies.
¿Has proven leadership skills
¿Has operated effectively within a multi-cultural environment, preferably within the UAE.
¿Effective Interpersonal and Team building skills.
¿Proven ability to positively influence key stake holders.
¿String written and Oral Communication Skills.
Basic Function and Scope:
¿To manage, occupational health, safe and environment issue and monitor the performance management of the occupational HSE section also to deputize for VPHSE.

Tasks, Duties and Accountabilities:-
¿To plan and coordinate the activities of the occupational HSE section members including the establishing and monitoring of personal performance targets for each in accordance with staff Performance Appraisal Process.
¿Provide inputs to the development and Maintenance of the company HSE Management system including the development of occupational Health and Hygiene standards, Plans, procedures and Guidelines and the HSE management system certification process.
¿Manage HSE owned contracts as assigned by the VPHSE.
