Job description

Qualification: -Bachelors or Master of Science degree in Safety, Health, Environment, Technical, Scientific, or related engineering field from an Accredited University.

Minimum Requirements: -
¿Minimum 10 years of general HSE experience and 5 years of relevant compliance/audit/assurance experience.
¿Experience preferably in the Oil/Gas Industry or as a Consultant to the Oil/Gas Industry.
¿Experience on large scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects preferred.
¿Has clearly demonstrated strong HSEMS Competencies, particularly around compliance, audit and assurance.
¿Has operated effectively with a multicultural environment, preferably within the UAE.
¿Demonstrated Interpersonal / Team Building Skills.
¿Strong leadership skills.
¿Strong written English and Oral Communication Skills.

Basic Function and Scope:
¿The senior HSE Compliance audit officer is a strategic role within the VPHSE organization reporting directly to the COMPANY HSE Systems Manager.
¿The position has a key role in the development and maintenance of a fit for purpose COMPANY HSE Management system, with particular focus on assurance. The position will also be the custodian for several company HSENS sub-Elements.
¿The position will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of HSE compliance and assurance activities in accordance with assigned responsibilities and established performance targets.
