This vacancy is with our government client, undertaking projects in oil & gas sector.

Job Purpose and Scope
Provides quality management support to DR-DCE and DR-DCO teams through defining quality requirements, reviewing, analyzing, assessing, auditing, and monitoring of contractor¿s processes, systems and reporting on their performances
Principal Accountabilities
¿ Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with other groups within the organization
¿ Directs interface with contractor quality and/or project management
¿ Acts as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and supports D&C Engineer (Contracts) in defining the
tenders Quality Assurance Requirements and Specifications to be used in awarded contracts.
Provides input with regard to modification for specific commodities and/or services
¿ Develops and maintains written policies, procedures, and audit tools.
¿ Leads technical and operational audits and follow up on action items
¿ Accurately captures, investigates, and updates operational non-conformances and tracks
follow up actions
¿ Leads efforts in establishing process and be primarily responsible for monitoring and
benchmarking progress in all quality assurance activities.
¿ Review contractors quality plans, management systems, processes and/or procedures
¿ Follow-up on comment resolution with regards to review of contractor quality plans,
management systems, processes and/or procedures
¿ Evaluates contractors responses of non-conformances with regards to root cause, corrective
and preventive actions for non-conformances incurred during contractual implementation,
audits and/or surveillances
¿ Composes written feedback that includes recommendations for coaching and improvement
¿ Maintains knowledge of companys guidelines, policies, laws or regulations pertaining to
positions scope.
¿ Assists with the training of new hires and cross-training of existing staff for the Quality team
¿ Maintains a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Organizational Relationship (Work Contacts)
¿ Frequent Internal contacts and meetings with DR-DCE, DR-DCO, DR-PBI personnel and management
¿ Frequent External contacts and meetings with Contractor personnel and management
¿ Frequent reporting on non-conformance status and nonproductive time of contractors
¿ Frequent reporting on audit and/or surveillance results
¿ Frequent reporting of internal document reviews

Minimum Requirements:

¿ Bachelors degree in relevant Engineering discipline
¿ Minimum 8 years experience in a quality assurance field with minimum of 4 years experience in drilling/oil field quality assurance related
¿ Working knowledge of International quality management system standards such as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 29001:2003
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
¿ Excellent problem solving skills
¿ Ability to work well with a team
¿ Sound judgment and common sense
¿ Has attended an accredited lead auditors course
