Job description

This vacancy is with our client, French Collaboration company based in Abu Dhabi.

Missions:
¿ To contribute to guarantee that company will have the trained Field Operations workforce according to Human Capital Project
¿ To participate in the development of the Academy offshore training organization.
Activities:
¿ Participate in, or Coordinate and supervise the preparation and implementation of the apprentices and employees OJT programs and its adaptation to prepared programs.
¿ Organize meetings with supervisors and local management at regular intervals to ensure follow-up and permanent evaluation.
¿ Review and upgrade the technical training materials prepared by Technical Trainers in accordance with field specifications.
¿ In liaise with Academy management, elaborate offshore OJT specific training procedures,
¿ Participate with the technical instructors to elaborate OJT training support and assessments.
¿ Give assistance to supervisors and mentors in the supervision of the OJT activities on site.
¿ Provide the management and personnel with the necessary tools and resources to prepare and organize training actions.
¿ Supervise internal mentors and possibly external instructors and check the performance of training programs.
¿ Participate to daily work permit meetings. Schedule, or modify where necessary, OJT activities in relation to the work on site
¿ Participate in, or ensure training program execution coordination.
¿ Organize training schedule.
¿ Check continuously training activities according to the plan.
¿ Assess trainees performance with mentors and cross-check the level of competencies
¿ Review and update the assessment sheets with the help of supervisors.
¿ Collect from the mentors or supervisors the assessment sheets and verify their quality content
¿ Compile OJT assessment sheets for each discipline and each trainee.
¿ Record trainees activities and performances.
¿ Propose corrective actions in relation with supervisors on site.
¿ Organize specific classroom training to reinforce knowledge and understanding,
¿ Ensure training data updating and prepare related statistics.
¿ Present the training program and achievements.
¿ Prepare internal and external reports.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Has developed an ambitious UAE national development program in order to secure its operations in the future by recruiting well trained technicians operators through a 2,5 years petroleum program in partnership with Institute of Applied Technology. OJT programs are part of the petroleum program developed through company Academy. During a 18 month period, apprentices are trained on offshore operations facilities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
¿ To define the suitable means in terms of training operators and training facilities.
¿ To control the training expenses and optimize the budget (grouping sessions, in-housetraining,..) on Operation side.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND BACKGROUND:
¿ Graduate in higher education, the holder must have a sound experience in on and off-shore Field Operations.
¿ Sense of service, knowledge of the Reid Operations professional disciplines, educational knowledge, coaching, initiative, analytical mind and ability to see the overall picture, strong and organizational skills are required.
¿ Computer skills.
