Scope of Duties
This vacancy is with our client, undertaking projects in oil & gas sector

Scope of Duties:

¿ Use a variety of Pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools for the specific jobs. Able to identify and use a variety of test and measurement equipments including digital and analogue voltmeters, pneumatic and smart calibrators.

¿ Performs a variety of skilled work related to installation, calibration of control valves, pressure, level, and temperature controllers, including running and tracing complex loop wiring. Able to read /understand the P&ID¿s, loop sheets, cause & effects and schematic diagrams.

¿ Carry out the duties of an instrument fitter, able to select the fitting materials suitable for Cryogenic, steam and corrosive services.

¿ Assist in complex trip test and function testing of control loops, must have knowledge of trip sequences and process fault finding.

¿ Must adhere strictly to the company¿s standard, codes, and practices. Familiar with similar permit system and area classifications.

¿ Must have good working knowledge of the vocabulary and stores systems to identify, and selects the correct application of spare parts and engineering materials.

¿ Give job directions and instructions to Instrument fitters and Laborers assigned to work with him.

¿ Ability to prepare simple reports containing measurement data or summaries of problems relevant to his post.


Minimum Requirements:

¿ Completion of technical secondary education (12 years) / apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.

¿ 5 years minimum experience in oil and gas industry.

¿ Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.

Work Location: Offshore Abu Dhabi
Leave cycle: 90 days `ON¿ Das Island followed by 30 days `OFF¿.
