Job description

We have a job opening in Abu Dhabi for QA/QC Lead engineer with one of our clients which is a private Oil & Gas company.

The base location is Abu Dhabi but may have to travel to Iraq if the project requires.

Degree or Equivalent in a recognized Engineering subject.

Minimum 10-13 years of QA/QC experience in consultancy engineering and construction in Oil & Gas environment.


-Good experience in implementing and improving Quality management system in multi-disciplinary organisations.
-Certified QMS 2008 Auditor.
Good written, communication, inter-personal, liaison and problem
solving skills with the ability to work in multi-cultural environment.

-Good experience in implementation of ISO9001:2000 Standards and procedure in the organization.

-Responsible for reviewing proposal and details design drawings, specification, data sheets for the projects based on
client scope of work, Project Quality Plan, applicable client standards.

-Co-coordinating and conducting internal quality audits,maintain ISO documentation, Quality Policy, objectives and ensure its implementation, follow-up of non-conformities and subsequent corrective and preventive actions.

-Analysis of Customer comments using any one of the 7 QC tools and implementation of corrective and preventive action.

-Periodically reviews the Quality Manual for revisions and controls distribution.
-Ensure projects delivery with full documentation and checkpoints action and verification records.
-Implementation and follow up of permit to work system.
-Review of Quality manuals, QA plans, procedures and inspection and test plans, audit schedule preparation and
conducting Internal Audit, Supplier Audit, Statistical Analysis,
follow-up of corrective and preventive actions and reporting to
Management Review Meeting.

-Preparation of non-conformance and follow-up actions for the
customer complaints, internal problems, incoming inspection,testing and commissioning and subsequent follow-up of
corrective and preventive action for the problems.
-Analyze problem areas and recommend practical and cost effective solutions.
-Prepare and Implement method statement in liaison with Client
relevant Divisions and hired consultants to cover construction commissioning and operation activities.

-Implement and enforce company Quality System and procedures to ensure operations are performed in an efficient manner in compliance with relevant legislation and company requirements.

¿ Assist Project Managers to ensure that the quality of the project meets Client¿s requirements.
-Aware of various clients, national and international codes & specifications and exposure to documentation in line with ISO 9001 quality, related to oil & gas engineering and construction
