This vacancy is with our client, undertaking projects in oil & gas sector.

High level Duties and Responsibilities:
¿ Hands on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business suite R12, 10g/11g database, Oracle Apps SYSADMIN functions and concurrent manager administration, Support.
¿ Should have on implementation & trouble shooting experience on windows / linux environment.
¿ Strong Knowledge on Patching, Cloning, Sysadmin Activities like user creation, responsibilities etc.
¿ Creation, registering of forms and reports, Menu creation etc.
¿ Trouble shooting Concurrent Requests/Programs.
¿ Expertise in resolve Concurrent manager, iAS Application & Web server issues
¿ Should have strong knowledge on Autoconfig, AD Utilities, CUSTOM TOP creations.
¿ Responsible for Performance tuning for optimal performance.
¿ Experience on Database 10g/11g Upgrades.
¿ Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security.
¿ Working knowledge on oracle RAC+ASM
¿ Installation of oracle cluster/database on Windows / Linux platform
¿ Working knowledge on upgrade and migration of oracle databases
¿ Understanding of change management process for affecting the change.
¿ Good knowledge in oracle backup and recovery process using RMAN
¿ Trouble shooting skill for oracle cluster and database issues.
¿ Working knowledge on oracle database patching.
¿ Strong practical knowledge & experience of hardware balancing required for the databases and to configure through storage mechanisms (SAN storage).
¿ Functional knowledge of supporting Oracle R12 E-business suite applications desirable.
¿ Strong practical knowledge & experience of configuring databases for high availability in a Disaster Recovery (DR) environment using real time replication data technologies like using golden gate & dataguard technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

¿ Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 6 years experience for UAE Nationals and 8 to 10 years for Expats
¿ Must be easily understood and possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and writing skills. Arabic language preferred.
¿ Must be proactive and self-motivated
