Our client a leading Oil and Gas Company is looking forward to recruit- Specialist services
POSITION: Design Engineer-Mechanical Dubai
¿ Mechanical Engineer and any other equivalent degree
¿ Minimum at least 6years experience in the same field. Pressure vessels and Heat exchanger
¿ Applying code requirement and also good engineering practice in equipment design, including conceptual, scheme and detail design;
¿ Developing and reviewing Piping and Instrumentation Drawing (PID), General arrangement Drawing (GAD), Isometric drawing, Structural drawing, detailed fabrication drawing of skid assemblies based on technical and client requirements;
¿ Engineering and preparing specifications datasheets & specifications for pressure vessels,
¿ valves, instrumentation, pipes and pipe supports, flanges and fitting.
¿ Engineering, mechanical design and vibration analysis of Shell & Tube and Plate type Heat
¿ Exchangers
¿ Preparing pressure drop calculation for pipe lines, NPSH calculation of pumps and pump selection
¿ Sizing and selection of pressure relief valves, breather valves and control valves, process
¿ vent as per applicable codes.
¿ Direct experience in design software such as PVElite, Compress, Pipenet, Caesar II, etc. and
¿ sufficient knowledge on thermal design software such as HTRI, Code-Calc etc.
¿ Preparing Essential, Safety Requirement check list, Hazard check list, Particular Material
¿ Appraisal as per Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC.
¿ Up-to-date working knowledge of international codes below but not limited to the following
API 6A, 12K, 12J, 16C, 520, 650,600 NACE MR01-75 etc.,
ASTM, PD5500, ASME Section II, VIII Div 1 and Div 2, B31.3, B31.8, B31.4, B16.5, B16.34, B16.9, B16.11, PED 97/23/EC, DNV 2.7.1, 2.7-3, CSC etc
¿ Salary ¿14,000-16,000 AED
